Business Areas - Finance The Black & Decker Finance Team for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), is a diverse group of financial professionals, based in offices throughout Europe.From Black & Decker’s European Headquarters located in Slough, Berkshire in the UK, we manage the financial analysis, accounting and control functions for both the EMEA and UK operations. We are supported by a Shared Service Centre in Cork, Ireland and local commercial finance employees in our major European offices. The European Internal Audit Department is also located at our Headquarters in the UK. Finance acts as an integral part of Black & Decker’s Worldwide Power Tools and Accessories business. Our primary roles are to provide financial analysis of the EMEA business, deliver accurate accounting of our financial results |
and maintain the strong control environment required of a publicly listed U.S. Company. Black & Decker offers an exciting environment for finance professionals to develop their skills and contribute to the success of an innovative global industry leader. Our team is multi-cultural and is represented by different educational and business backgrounds. Common degree types include - accounting, finance, business and economics – with previous experiences in, for example, industry, banking and public accounting.
