DEWALT (UK Sales & Marketing Team) DEWALT is our distinct yellow and black range of high performance power tools aimed specifically at the Professional User. The Brand has been characterised by consistent growth over the last five years - holding a number 1 market share position in the UK.DEWALT focuses its resources on the End User (the man or woman who uses our tools), to provide quality products and innovative solutions which are functional and make their daily tasks faster and easier. Every product brought to market is rigorously tested and refined by the Product Management Team, our Product Designers and Engineers in our European Marketing Organisation (EMO). In the UK it is our job, at the local market level, to meet the needs of the UK market place, by providing marketing and sales support |
to new and existing products throughout our distribution. The most important difference for DEWALT is that we have changed the way we go to market, by marketing ourselves directly to the End User. We do this to convert them to DEWALT in a variety of environments - where they work, where they play, where they learn, where they buy and where they live. One of our biggest assets is our team of dedicated End User Specialists, who use this model to meet the end user in all aspects of their lives. They develop relationships with our End Users, our distribution, and their local community. These fundamental relationships help them form an understanding of our organisation and our customers' organisations. The End User Specialists then work with our Sales Team to implement our sales and marketing plans, including: |
new product implementation; in-store POS/merchandising; national shows and exhibitions; sponsorship programmes; training in schools and colleges and promotional campaigns. To ensure our plans meet the needs of the market place, our UK marketing team will work with the End User Specialists, Sales Team and Trading Partners to bring innovative promotional solutions to strengthen our brand position. These promotions help us position our brand as a committed, energetic, truly professional solution. We have brand partnerships with Nissan and Zurich and have successfully introduced Brand extensions into on-site clothing, footwear and safety wear. In the UK organisation, we work tirelessly to make DEWALT the number 1 brand of choice for professional power tool and accessories users. We do this to drive end users to our trading partners, to deliver sales performance and secure the future of the wider DEWALT Brand. |
