DEWALT Sales & Marketing DEWALT is our outstanding Power Tool Brand aimed at professional users – it’s distinctive yellow and black design, populates most worldwide building sites. DEWALT has a reputation for tough, reliable, powerful and precise tools and products, with world-leading investment, marketing and distribution channels behind them.The Programme: DEWALT has launched a two-year European Graduate Programme to run along side the already highly successful Black & Decker model. DEWALT is looking to train graduates in the grass roots of the DEWALT business and develop it’s future managers and leaders. Roles for 2008 will initially begin in DEWALT’S all-important Service Division. Assignments and roles in the following 18 months will be business-critical, stimulating, stretching and could involve, European travel. |
Training: Training is fundamental to the success of the Graduate Programme – we are known for our learning and development – running an in-house training centre – a purpose built unit, with second to none facilities. Graduates will receive a thorough induction to learn about the business and to network with other graduates and managers. Typical training courses throughout the programme are: teambuilding; power tools; presentation skills and personal impact. All graduates receive a mentor and take part in a business-critical graduate team project – addressing a vital commercial issue. Opportunities: Success is measured through results and outstanding performance. We will do all we can to “market” you and your achievements within both the Black & Decker and DEWALT. We anticipate that upon programme completion, you will be offered a responsible position. There is no guarantee of a job offer, but this is a genuine programme designed to find our future potential. |
What do we look for?: In addition to academic qualifications, we place value on your ability to display some key skills. Previous use of power tools is not essential
