Working with us - Our Structure Black & Decker Europe represents the Worldwide Power Tools and Accessories Division of the Black & Decker Corporation and generates over $1 billion of profitable revenue. The reach of our European business, stretches from Norway in the North, to South Africa in the South and East to West from Ireland to India.We employ nearly 3,500 people across eight market businesses, our EMEA Headquarters, two Engineering Design Centres and several Manufacturing Operation Centres. Both throughout Europe and across our global Corporation, we operate in a “matrix”, which means that functional expertise and leadership, as well as market/geography-centric focus and expertise both come to the fore. |
Our major commercial centres are based in Slough (UK), Gothenburg (Sweden), Bergen-op-Zoom (Netherlands), Barcelona (Spain), Monza (Italy), Limonest (France), Idstein (Frankfurt, Germany) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Additionally we have Design Centres in Spennymoor (County Durham, UK) and Idstein. The majority of manufacturing takes place in China and Usti in the Czech Republic – although we do have manufacturing presence in other parts or Europe. |
