Want to know more about the role of a Firefighter?

If you are aged 17 and over and live in the county of Derbyshire please register your interest to attend a Firefighter recruitment awareness day.

This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and awareness about the role of a Firefighter.  You will have the opportunity to explore the various stages of the recruitment process and get hands on with the equipment.  Please ensure that you have read the information on our website about the role of a Firefighter.  Click here to take you to our Recruitment Information.

We actively encourage women, those from black or ethnic minority backgrounds and new and emerging communities, to consider a career as a firefighter.  The number of employees from these groups is significantly lower than we would like them to be. Our aim is to have a workforce that reflects the diversity of the community we serve.

We are now running quarterly awareness sessions and once you have registered your interest you will be emailed a link to book your place.  Places are limited per session but will run every three months, which should provide an opportunity for all to attend.
