We're seeking Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team at our warm and welcoming children’s home in Wingrave. Here, we support children and young people aged 11 to 19 who have autism and learning disabilities, helping them feel safe, settled, and cared for through the night.

As part of our night team, you’ll play a vital role in providing reassurance, emotional support, and personal care – ensuring each child has the best chance at a peaceful, restful night. You’ll carry out regular wellbeing checks, build trusting relationships, and be a calming presence when it’s needed most.

Our young people attend the nearby MacIntyre School during the day, so your work during the night makes a huge difference to how they engage and thrive.

  • Full-time roles available: 38 hours per week on a rota including nights, evenings, and weekends

  • Part-time roles available: minimum of two nights per week

About You

You may have been a care assistant or support worker before, but if not don’t worry, you don’t need experience – so long as you have the right approach, we'll teach you the rest.

We’ll support you to gain your Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (free of charge), alongside other specialist training all provided on site by MacIntyre. The Diploma is a requirement for all Support Workers at our residential children's homes and you will need to obtain it within two years of starting your employment with us.

We are in a rural village with no nearby public transport, so being able to get to and from the children's homes is a must.

Training and Development
