Job Description

Ready to lead with purpose and passion? Join us as a Senior Support Worker, and guide your team to success!

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team! We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills you need for this rewarding role.

About Us: We support adults with learning disabilities across Leicester, celebrating each individual’s unique personality, interests, and passions. Our goal is to offer personalized support that aligns with their desires and needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll also mentor your team, provide proactive support, and be the go-to person for advice and encouragement. Your leadership, empathy, and ability to motivate will inspire your team to deliver their best every day. With your keen eye for detail and advocacy, you’ll ensure compliance while prioritising the health and happiness of everyone who draws on our support. You'll lead with heart, creating an environment where both your team and the people we support thrive. Whether it's rota management, finances, compliance, inspections, or the many other tasks that keep our houses running, you'll be on hand to make sure everything stays on track and everyone's voice is heard. You’ll also be supported by an experienced Frontline Manager, and have plenty of opportunities to grow your mentorship skills, empowering you to lead with even more confidence.

Here are a few examples of the incredible individuals you could be working with:

  • James* volunteers at his local food bank because helping others is important to him. Do you share his passion for giving back?

  • David* is crafting a video about what makes a great support worker. He’s writing, performing, and directing it all on his own. Could you be his creative buddy?

  • Lucy* is a talented horse rider who doesn't need riding lessons, but she could use a hand getting on her horse. Could you lend your support?

  • Graham* is making strides towards living more independently and is currently focused on improving his money management skills. Could you help guide him on this journey?

These examples highlight the diversity and fulfilment that come with being a support worker. We’d love to learn about the unique talents and skills you can bring to our team—cooking skills are always a plus!

If you’re ready to make a difference and help others thrive, we want to hear from you!

"Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding."
