To assist in the planning, co-ordination and performance of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental activities required by company standards, the customer and legislative bodies, from project tender through to post-commissioning phases.

To ensure compliance to Regulatory, Client and Invensys EHS requirements; manage the EHS aspects of the WRSL Business Management System; to co-ordinate the EHS auditing across the business and to manage the auditing of vendors to minimise the import of risks to WRSL from an EHS perspective in conjunction with the Quality Compliance Manager.

To develop the scheme design and detailed design for the contract and play a responsible role in the application teams workload and efficiency.

Direct the activities of the team to achieve the safe implementation of all facets of Signalling projects to the customers’ specifications and agreed project budgets and timescales. Check that the quality of output from the section is to the required standards and that target dates are achieved.
