Our relief contracts give you flexibility to work days and times that suit you. You'll play an essential part of our team; helping us to make sure that we can continue to deliver excellent care and support during times of colleague annual leave, training and absence.
The Role
You'll become part of one of our friendly and dedicated teams who supports individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities who live in their own shared homes. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication. You'll also provide support with their hobbies and interests too, including music, arts & crafts and activities and walks out in their local community to name a few.
About you

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to build an amazing career within the Health & Social Care sector. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
All we’ll need you to bring is:-

- Good communication and organisational skills
- An excellent grasp of the English language (written & spoken)
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, our services do support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns will involve early mornings (from 0700 hours), days and evenings. Weekends, public holidays and sleepovers will also form part of your work schedule on a rotational basis.
Our sleepovers don’t form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £100.80 for every sleepover shift you work.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
