Looking for something more than the regular 9 to 5 in 2026? If you're looking for a career packed full job satisfaction where you can make a difference everyday, then we might have just the opportunity you have been looking for!

Our fabulous #TeamAlexandra is on the lookout for positive and motivated individuals who are passionate about going the extra mile for the people we support to join them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent basis.

Who you are is what makes you stand out! We recruit on values and behaviours and we'll give you all the training you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ qualification.

The Role

Alexander is a housing support service to four individuals with multiple and varying support needs. The people we support here thrive on living as independently as possible, and benefit from a support team who recognize this and do their best to support their interests.

No two days are ever the same. The people we support are fun loving and enjoy being out and out. When not out on a day trip, they enjoy doing a spot of gardening, dancing to the sounds of Abba, Russ Abbot, Tina Turner (all the typical party tunes!) and some cooking and baking to name a few things.

We support individuals with attending work placements and social activities in the community as well as support at home with many aspects of daily living including personal care, medication management, household tasks, shopping and more.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!
