Our fabulous #TeamBessieDunlop are on the lookout for understanding and motivated male* colleague with a positive attitude to join their team on a permanent full-time (39 hours per week) basis in Dalry.
Our team and the individual you'll support
The main purpose of your role will be to support an amazing gentleman in his own home with all aspects of his daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, meal planning, housework and personal care.
You will find yourself getting involved in the activities the gentleman enjoys and finding new ways for him to explore these. These activities watching Formula 1, retro game shows and gaming. The gentleman also enjoys going for trips to the cinema and any fair ground rides!
Due to the needs of the service, for this role it would be beneficial if you have a full UK manual drivers licence with 1 years experience on the roads but it isn't a deal breaker.
About You
To be a great Support Practitioner, we will need you have the following qualities;

- Able to follow guidelines.
- Confidence in the use of technology.
You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. and have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!.
Shift Patterns
We provide flexible, customer-led services that run twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, which include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays and on a rota basis. So we will need you to be flexible. The shifts are typically 9am-9pm or alternatively nightshift 9pm-9am, there is a combinations of both shifts throughout the monthly rota.
