Our relief contracts really give you flexibility.  You tell us when you’re available and we’ll look to give you shifts to fit.

Shift Patterns

As we’re dedicated to providing the best support 24/7 possible, our shift usually fall into patterns of 0645-1400, 1345-2100 and 2100-0700 hours.

The Role

As a Support Worker, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.  

Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs which include shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care and housework.

All of the individuals enjoy being active, so you’ll also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, swimming, baking, musical instruments and arts & crafts.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.  We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving licence
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
