We are looking for two female* Team Members to join our team in Provanmill, Glasgow on a 30 or 35 hours per week permanent basis in January. We pay our Team Members £10.02 per hour!
You will be joining a small, dedicated team supporting two women with autism and other complex support needs within their own home. With a focus on maintaining and improving independence, our team provides support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, preparing meals, managing personal finances and supporting with medication
As a Team Member within one of our pioneering self-organised teams, you will take on additional responsibilities using the latest care planning technology, such as maintaining personal plans, rota planning, financial auditing, staff support and development, health and safety and the recruitment of new colleagues. This is a great opportunity for both personal and professional learning and development.
We are passionate about putting the people we support at the heart of everything we do. The two ladies we support love music, dancing, games and having a good laugh – so, a great sense of humour is essential for anyone joining our team! They enjoy getting out and about, so you will need to be creative and proactive in supporting them to access meaningful and interesting activities out in the community.
We are looking for people with a real passion to build relationships and positively impact the lives of the people we support. So, whilst it would be beneficial if you have experience working with individuals with autism, this is not essential. What’s most important to us is that you can demonstrate the right values and attitude to make a difference. You’ll receive all the training and support you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ qualification.

Whilst you will have the support of the wider team, the role will involve occasional lone working so you’ll have to be able to think on your feet and use your own initiative.
Our team provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Therefore, you will be expected to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays as part of your rota.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
