Our amazing #TeamNew Deer are on the lookout for a new caring, compassionate and motivated colleague to join them on a permanent, basis. We also have relief opportunities available. Joining us on a relief contract really gives you flexibility.  You tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit in.

​​​​​​​The current salary is £9.50 per hour, with a pay award pending of £10.02 per hour and will be backdated to 1st December 2021.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, welcoming team who supports eight individuals who are all on the Autism spectrum.  There's never a dull moment at New Deer, no two days are ever the same and you'll always be kept on your toes!   

You'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of daily living, including medication, meal preparation, housework and personal care.   As the individuals also love keeping active and being part of their local community, we're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting them with their hobbies and interests too which include walking, swimming and activities at home. 

Due to the rural location, we will need you to have a driving license and access to your own vehicle.

  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle

​​​​​​​Shift Patterns

Shift patterns usually fall between the hours of 0900-1645 and 0800-0800 (includes a sleepover) or 0900-0900 hours (includes a sleepover) 7 days a week.   Your rota will be issued on a 4 week rolling basis and you'll even get every second weekend off! Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you'll receive an additional sleepover payment of £76.00 per night.
