Our amazing #TeamHuxterstone in Kingswells, Aberdeen are on the lookout for caring, understanding and dedicated *female colleague on a permanent part-time (16 or 20 hours) basis to join them as Support Workers. We’re also looking for flexible relief colleagues too.
You'll become part of a friendly, warm team who supports four fun loving ladies . Not only will you support them with all aspects of daily living, you’ll also assist them to take part in hobbies and activities both within the home and out in their local community too when current restrictions are lifted. Some of their hobbies and interests include going for cups of tea, arts & crafts, music and baking.
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!
It would be great if you’re a driver, however, this isn’t a dealbreaker for the right candidate.
All we’ll need you to bring is;
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- A good sense of humour
- The ability to work well in a team
- Great communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
- Good administration skills
- Confidence in the use of computers
- The ability to cook (baking is a bonus too)
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts are a mixture of early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.
Our sleepover shifts don’t fall as part of your contracted hours. You’ll receive an additional payment of £76 for every sleepover shift you work.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
