Ty Anwen is a newly built residential rehabilitation service for up to sixteen people with complex mental health needs.

The service consists of sixteen self-contained studio flats, together with a number of communal facilities. Support staff will be on site 24 hours a day and the service will be registered with CSSIW. The emphasis is on supporting the transition of clients from a variety of health settings into more independent living through a range of structured activities, as well as managing their mental and physical health within a recovery focussed programme.

Delivered in state-of-the-art accommodation, this unique model of high quality, intensive support will shape the way in which community mental health services are provided in the future.

This post would suit an experienced RMN who is looking to develop their management and clinical skills in a community setting. The post holder would need to be a strong advocate of Person Centred Approaches and it would be advantageous to have an understanding of psycho social approaches (DBT & CBT). The post holder will also assist the manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the service and to deputise for them in their absence.

The post holder will lead on Line management of staff and the leadership and development of the service, including recruitment and selection of staff their supervision, deployment and training. They will undertake a mentoring role and observational practice role within the team to support and monitor the delivery of services.

A key feature of the role will be to promote independence wellbeing and healthy life choices and to work as part of a team to promote positive outcomes for people who use our services.

You will be required to work a combination of day shifts (earlies and lates), some weekend working to be flexible to covering shifts as a contingency.

You are required to be a car owner and Car driver. You are required to undertake sleep-ins as part of your role.
