Working as part of our Carers team of Personal Assistants team you will be genuinely making a difference to the lives of people who use our services. You will be supporting people to lead full, independent and happy lives, in the safe and comfortable environment of their own homes/our homes/schemes/projects.

Our service users rely on our support for many reasons and our client group includes individuals who need help and support with every days tasks.


Our Personal Assistants play a significant role in supporting our clients to overcome any challenges that they may encounter and you will help them to live as independently as possible.

The main duties of the role involve:

  • Providing personal care

  • Supporting people to live every day lives

  • Support and prompting with medication

  • Meal preparation

  • Social activities

  • Providing social and emotional support

  • Shopping and domestic duties such as laundry and general housekeeping tasks

  • Undertake relevant training for the role


We have both full and part time permanent contracts available for individuals who genuinely want to help and support independent living.

Our Personal Assistants will posses:

  • A genuine desire to help people and makedifference

  • Have an understanding of the challenges that many of our service users face

  • Keen listening and communication skills

  • Empathy, compassion and a caring nature

  • Flexibility including working evenings/ bank holidays and weekends

  • Respect, integrity and dignity for our client groups

  • A non-judgmental approach to providing care and support.

  • A current driving license and your own transport as this position will involve travelling.
