Job Description

Company Overview
Jobtrain is an established and highly regarded provider of online recruitment software (Applicant Tracking Systems), supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK and internationally. Our customers include organisations such as Odeon Cinemas, the Isle of Man Government, NHS Scotland, Toyota, Paul Smith and Chester Zoo.

Based in Altrincham, South Manchester, we are continuing to grow our Client Services team to support a rapidly expanding client base. Our consultants play a critical role in helping organisations achieve measurable improvements in recruitment performance through strategic use of technology, data and insight.

The Role
This is a consultative role for someone with strong recruitment or HR experience who enjoys working in partnership with clients to improve hiring outcomes.

As a Success Consultant, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to a portfolio of clients, helping them to maximise the value of Jobtrain in the context of their wider recruitment objectives. This is not a reactive support role. Instead, you will work proactively with senior HR and functional stakeholders to understand their recruitment challenges, define improvement goals and deliver meaningful, measurable change.

You will take ownership of long-term client relationships, combining your recruitment expertise with insight from system usage and talent intelligence data to guide clients towards best practice and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary strategic point of contact for senior HR and functional stakeholders within your client portfolio
  • Build trusted, consultative relationships, positioning yourself as an expert advisor on recruitment process, performance and system optimisation
  • Lead annual strategic reviews with clients, assessing how Jobtrain is being used to support organisational recruitment goals and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Use insight from client reviews, system data and talent intelligence to define clear, prioritised improvement plans
  • Positively position new and existing Jobtrain modules where they will deliver measurable performance improvements
  • Deliver annual recruitment performance reports aligned to agreed strategic goals, including recommendations on how recruitment processes and system usage can be further optimised
  • Proactively capture client success stories, testimonials and case studies, working closely with the marketing team to showcase client outcomes
  • Champion client satisfaction, visibility and influence across each client’s user community

Background and Experience

  • A strong background in recruitment and/or HR, ideally within an in-house, RPO, shared services or complex hiring environment
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, stakeholder management and recruitment performance metrics
  • Experience of working in a consultative, client-facing or advisory capacity
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment technology is highly desirable but not essential
  • CIPD qualification is welcome but not required

About You

  • You are naturally consultative, confident engaging senior stakeholders and comfortable challenging constructively
  • You enjoy analysing recruitment challenges and translating insight into practical, strategic solutions
  • You combine strong interpersonal skills with excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • You are motivated by delivering real value for clients and exceeding expectations
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in being part of a high-performing team

Why Join Jobtrain
In return, you will join a highly respected organisation with a strong reputation in the recruitment technology market. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of organisations, influence recruitment strategy and develop your career in consultancy and client success.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues, given genuine autonomy over your client portfolio and encouraged to grow your consulting expertise in a role where your recruitment knowledge makes a real difference.
