We are looking for a Senior Technical Officer who has the skills and ability to deal with a wide variety of issues including investigating statutory nuisance such as noise, light and smoke, fly-tipping, littering and filthy and verminous premise.

As a key member of our friendly Neighbourhoods Team, you will support the work of the team to deal with all areas of environmental health. You will also be required to exercise judgement and make decisions on relevant legislation and carry out prompt investigation of complaints. You must therefore have previous experience of handling difficult situations in a professional manner, the ability to communicate often in demanding circumstances and be able to demonstrate experience of working within a similar environment.
