Reference: BMS00507 – Inward Investment and Innovation Coordinator
We are looking for an innovative person with significant business knowledge to join our Economy and Regeneration team, someone who shares our values, commitment and motivation to make a real difference for our districts.
As part of our vision to drive economic ambition, innovation and deliver new higher wage jobs and support our many fast-growing businesses in the districts, we have restructured our Economy and Regeneration teams and are excited to be recruiting for the role of Inward Investment and Innovation Co-ordinator.
In this role, you will:
- support the growth of existing businesses in the districts
- attract new businesses from out of district through a range of initiatives
- work with a range of committed partners and stakeholders across the districts
- raise aspiration and deliver key high value projects
- enhance the profile of our places as areas of significant business and economic growth.
Ideally, you will:
- have significant experience in stakeholder management and have worked with large and small businesses and multiple partners to deliver innovative projects that will help raise the profile of the district to potential investors.
- be creative, innovative and output focused.
This role is normally based at our modern and conveniently located office accommodation, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working from home and it has worked really well for us.
