Ref: RND0602P - CCTV Advanced Operator
£24,972 - £26,768 per annum, (rate shown is inclusive of the 20% all- inclusive shift allowance and 5 hpw contractual overtime payment)
We are looking to recruit a permanent, experienced CCTV Control Room Operator to assist us with the delivery of our 24-hour public space CCTV service within Bassetlaw. The post is based in Worksop.
You will work be required to work a 12-hour rotational shift system based on an average 42-hour working week including day, night shifts and weekends. The CCTV Control Room is open 365 days a year. Duties include the need to monitor and operate the CCTV cameras in a control room to agreed standards and provide an emergency response service to internal and external customers. It is therefore essential that you have experience of handling difficult situations and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
The post holder should have full SIA accreditation in CCTV and Data Protection, and will be subject to Police Vetting, including an enhanced DBS clearance check.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Compliance with Bassetlaw District council, legislative and customer standards and procedures.
- Maintenance and storage of records (both hand written and electronic)
- Compliance with all relevant rules, procedures, and statutory requirements concerning Health and Safety at work.
- Working as part of a team.
