    The role 
    Do you have a passion for marketing? Do you want to be part of a team delivering national campaigns impacting on every resident in the country? Can you bring fresh ideas and experience of marketing and campaigning?

    We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Workforce Campaigns Manager who can work independently, shows initiative and knows how to motivate a team. 

    This role is ideal for someone with marketing and campaigns experience who is looking for their next step in a multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with colleagues across our organisation, within the Communications Directorate and with members of your team to deliver a series of marketing campaigns which help councils to address their workforce challenges and help them to improve and attract new talent.

    You will be joining an established and skilled team working within an impactful organisation. As the representatives of local government across the country, there has never been a more exciting time to work for the LGA.

    The requirements 
    We are looking for someone who has experience of marketing and communications strategies, stakeholder management and a passion for local government. 

    Experience we’re seeking: 

    • Creation of marketing and campaigns strategies for a variety of audience segments and channels;
    • Developing and managing branding structures;
    • Stakeholder and customer management;
    • Understanding of the political process within central and local government​​​​​​

    You must have the right to work in the UK, the LGA are unfortunately unable to offer sponsorship visas. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage
