We currently have two roles within our Pensions Team that we are recruiting to and would love to hear from you if you believe you have the relevant skills and abilities to carry out these roles. 

Pensions Benefit Team Leader
Grade/Salary:    PO4 - £40,653 - £43,503 per annum
Contract:            Permanent, Full-Time

Islington Council is looking to recruit a Pensions Team Leader (PTL) to supervise and support Pensions Administration Staff in the calculation and processing of all types of pension benefits. The PTL will also play a key role in the implementation and development of a number of projects driven by our business plan. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and performance focused. The ability to prioritise work and meet critical deadlines are essential as well as an understanding of data protection requirements. An extensive knowledge of Local Government Pensions Administration, together with good IT skills is also an essential requirement.

Pensions Administrator 
Grade/Salary:     Sc4/S02 - £22,641 - £34,299 per annum
Contract:            Fixed Term for 18 Months, Full-Time

Islington Council is looking to recruit a temporary Pensions Administrator on an 18 month fixed term contract to work in our busy Pensions Office. The Pension Administrator will perform a range of tasks including the calculation and processing of all types of pension benefits and the maintenance of membership records. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and performance focused. The ability to prioritise work and meet critical deadlines are essential. A knowledge of Local Government Pensions Administration, together with good IT skills is also an essential requirement. We welcome applications for candidates looking for full time or part time hours with a minimum requirement of 21 hours.
