An opportunity has arisen for a Stores Administrator to join our Dartford Service Branch. 

The role supports the Field Managers in providing and ordering material and supplies for the field teams.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that supplies, stock, materials, packages, and products are processed through the delivery system efficiently and safely. Ideal candidates will be experienced in stock management within a busy office environment.

The role can be physically demanding, therefore the ability to lift large loads in line with Health and Safety is key to this position as well as attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stock control using the stock valuation report
  • Undertake monthly warehouse stock takes
  • Undertake quarterly van stock takes
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Process & dispatch part orders
  • Receive delivery of packages in Purchase Order System
  • Replenishments of engineer’s stock
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Control of warranty parts and return to suppliers
  • Housekeeping of stores area and yard
  • Building Maintenance
  • Sourcing and ordering specific parts to keep lifts running
  • Maintaining records for plant
  • Price checking to ensure value for purchase

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • NVQ2 Customer Service desirable but not essential
  • A forklift truck licence would be an advantage
