Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team at our Shefford site

About the role

You’ll be part of a busy, supportive team responsible for accurately picking and dispatching customer orders to high quality standards, while always following our Health & Safety procedures.
Your work will also include checking incoming components for correct quantities and condition, and ensuring all items are stored in the right locations.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern:

  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

You’ll need to be flexible and willing to undertake a variety of warehouse and yard duties both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

This position starts as a 6‑month contract, with the real opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence
  • Experience with scanner guns and a WMS
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
  • Reliable team player with a positive, flexible attitude
  • Basic IT, good communication, and strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Committed to Health & Safety and company standards
  • Willing to work overtime when required
  • Full, valid driving licence
