Head of Data & Business Intelligence
📍 Glasgow Airport (Hybrid | Multi site across AGS airports)

AGS Airports operates Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports and plays a critical role in the UK’s regional aviation network. We are now seeking a Head of Data & Business Intelligence to lead our enterprise data, BI and analytics capability at a pivotal point in our digital transformation journey.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Information & Technology Officer, with responsibility for shaping how data is governed, trusted and used to drive operational performance, regulatory assurance and commercial growth.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading the Data, BI and Analytics strategy aligned to AGS business and IT priorities
• Building and developing a high performing Data & BI team, supported by strategic suppliers
• Owning and evolving enterprise data platforms, BI tooling and reporting architecture
• Establishing strong data governance, data quality and GDPR compliant information management
• Converting business and operational priorities into KPIs, dashboards and actionable insight
• Delivering data and BI transformation programmes, including modernising legacy reporting
• Managing BI budgets, suppliers and delivery performance to maximise value
• Acting as a senior IT leader, contributing to wider technology strategy and governance

What we’re looking for

• Proven senior leadership experience in Business Intelligence, Data & Analytics
• Track record delivering enterprise scale BI and reporting platforms
• Strong ability to align data initiatives to business outcomes and executive decision making
• Experience leading data and BI transformations in complex or regulated environments
• Commercially credible, with experience managing budgets and suppliers
• Confident communicator, able to influence and present at Executive level

Desirable:

• Experience in aviation, transport, infrastructure or regulated industries
• Experience with cloud based data platforms and advanced analytics
