Aberdeen International Airport is looking for a full time permanent Building Services Technician to join our Engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality, reliable service to passengers, tenants and other internal/external customers, through effective and efficient maintenance of airport assets, minimising its down time and maximising assets life cycles. Tasks include:
Planned and reactive maintenance on the all building fabric assets.
Basic joinery, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
Painting, decorating and other general fabric tasks.
Minor civil works and repairs to airport infrastructure.
The nature of the business requires a flexible working approach in this busy 7 day week all year round operation. This could include weekend, evening working and being available to deal with breakdowns and emergency works outside of normal working hours.
You will require to have 5 years work history for security clearance.
Glasgow Airport has a vacancy for a full-time Health & Safety Assurance Manager to join its busy team. In this role you will be accountable for ensuring Glasgow Airport Limited fully complies with all statutory compliance requirements regarding health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) legislation and applicable performance standards. Assisting in developing and maintaining the HSW strategy for Glasgow Airport and driving actions to ensure continuous improvement especially across the areas of behavioural safety. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and monitor GLAL’s emergency planning procedures in line with EASA requirements. Producing performance reports against budget and AGS KPI targets. Identification of opportunities for external collaboration to support initiatives and projects which will deliver improvements in health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and the wider campus including our passengers. Supporting the assurance team in the implementation and running of the Managing Responsibly System (MRS) and ensuring HSW Standards are understood by all operational staff and incorporated into processes as appropriate. Assume contract management responsibility for the Healthcare provision contract. Driving the Glasgow Airport HSW agenda, including communicating with staff, third parties and other stakeholders.
