About the role
Do you have experience working in the Communications sector? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Client Services team as a Client Service Executive. Whether your experience sits within Print, Design, Content or Creative Services, we're looking for someone with real ability and adaptability to join this vibrant team!
You'll help deliver excellent sector-leading client service to one of our key clients, utilising specific CDS systems, services, and resources. Typically your role will consist of Outbound Communications, Transactional Print, Print Management, and supporting our Creative Service team. You'll be encouraged to work within the team environment and to stretch yourself. We'll provide a solid support structure, regular training, and collaboration with colleagues in a high-performing team!
As a Client Service Executive, you'll typically partner and collaborate effectively with the broader CDS teams to manage conflicting interests and deadlines, balancing high volume, lower value transaction business that is fundamental key strategic revenue for CDS.
You'll provide high levels of service support internally to the Account Management group, our creative service team and externally to clients and suppliers, utilising all resources available in an effective and efficient manner.
Day-to-day responsibilities might include:
- Receiving and qualifying client briefs and enquiries.
- Briefing our design and print teams, articulating the client’s requirements.
- Acting as client liaison for processing client projects and jobs externally with our suppliers, and internally with agency departments/key client contacts.
- Maintaining contact with clients and suppliers via phone, and email on a regular basis, supporting account teams in building strong relationships.
- Effectively managing client satisfaction and issues to full and effective resolution, including management of key support areas across the business..
- Attending client service meetings to review contractual service levels and explore opportunities with clients regarding value-add activities.

Requirements
You'll possess an innate drive to provide industry-leading client service, be motivated, and have an acute attention to detail. You should be able to work independently or as part of the wider team, using your own initiative and coping with complex competing demands.
- Knowledge of Print Management, Outbound Communications, Transactional Print and Creative (including taking a brief and ensuring our creative team understands the client’s requirements). The role will expand to include future Digital services.
- A self-starter, able to set and manage own goals.
- Passionate for knowledge. This is a fast-paced, constantly evolving consumer-driven/technology-driven market.
- A strong, honest communicator who possesses excellent verbal, listening and written skills.
- Excellent communication skills, applying the appropriate tone and representing CDS core values.
- A strong organiser and super effective with time management, skill sets and resources.
- Excellent with Microsoft - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong with data - an ability to work with data and interpret results with good attention to detail.
- Able to think quickly and make decisions within minimal referral/ guidance.
- Some experience in working with high-profile clients.
- Eager to build relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike.
