We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College.

Barking & Dagenham College is looking for an IT/Computing Lecturer, who will deliver to students working within the specialist area of ICT/Computing from Level 1 to 4 and have associated experience working at these levels. 

There is requirement to have specialist knowledge of Programming, Networking and Computer Systems Architecture. Advantageous to this post are industry certifications in CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon AWS and CISCO.

The successful candidate will be able to monitor and track learner progress and maintain up to date records, participate in IT team activities and act as a course leader promoting innovation in learning and technology, and be able to undertake assessor and internal verification role.

You will promote the College through market events and delivery of new courses, organise industry work placements as required and liaise with employers, and take part in enrolment, admissions and induction of learners.

Understanding the importance of Safe Guarding in the workplace and an awareness of Equality and Diversity is essential., as well as undertaking pastoral care and guidance to support learners.

Experience in Programming, Networking and Computer Systems Architecture is essential, while Industry Certifications and Experience at delivering HE is definitely advantageous.
