We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for ACL – Kickstart Co-ordinator.

The post holder will generate referrals for Kickstart Roles for organisations that BDC are working with through our Gateway as part of the Adult Skills Community Learning Team.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out all administration and finances relating to Kickstart, including co-ordination and preparation of reimbursement of salaries and initial grants. The post holder will be responsible for supporting recruitment for Gateway organisations. Responsible for offering robust information, advice, guidance and assessment support to facilitate onboarding onto appropriate training programmes. 

They will manage and lead coordinate an agreed allocation caseload of participants providing the required mentoring support to aid completion and achievement in line with college set targets. They will liaise with the curriculum delivery teams and key sponsors to maximise progression into employment, apprenticeships of further study.
