We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for motivated, learner- centered and outstanding Curriculum Team Leader-Plumbing, who can inspire students, have a flexible and creative approach to their work; and foster the development of excellent technical learning and entrepreneurial skills.

The successful  Curriculum Team Leader (CTL) will be responsible for championing teaching, learning, and assessment practices including innovative online teaching strategies, IQA work, mentoring lecturers and curriculum colleagues etc.

You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to plan the curriculum and activity for the delivery of programmes to learners within specific course areas, ensuring an innovative and high-quality provision. As the Lead for Teaching, Learning, Assessment and Digital for a specific area the CTL will work closely with the Teaching and Learning Champions, Digital Champions and English and Maths Champions to plan, monitor, manage and evaluate the curriculum offer, to ensure the delivery of quality face-to-face and online learning to all learners and promote high standards of teaching. 

You will also lead on T-Shaped skills development, keeping abreast of internal and external developments in curriculum and delivery models, and support the drive to prepare learners for placement, progression and next steps and ensure they develop employability skills, complete work placements, participate in competitions and have maximum opportunity to progress.

This post has a teaching commitment of 19 hours per week.
