Running our free youth club sessions, including all preparation, planning and evaluation. You’ll manage a small team and be responsible for maintaining and implementing policies and safeguarding. Initially for eight hours/week including a regular Thursday evening session for 50 weeks pa. You’ll be encouraged to expand provision, e.g. to a second evening and for outreach work.
The applicant will head a team to plan and run activities both on and off site as well as providing support for the young people attending (aged 11 and above). The ideal candidate will be organised, pro-active and with a positive outlook and experience of working in a similar environment. They will demonstrate a strong commitment to young people together with an understanding of the issues affecting their lives. Relevant qualifications and good administrative skills are desirable.
This is a part-time post, subject to continued funding.
