Job Description

At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose – to improve people’s lives.

Are you a creative, organised marketer with a passion for delivering standout campaigns?

We’re looking for a proactive Marketing Campaign Support Officer to support the Heritage Services marketing team at The Roman Baths. You’ll help shape how audiences discover and engage with one of the UK’s most iconic heritage sites, supporting campaigns that inspire visits, grow income and strengthen our brand.

About the Role

You’ll support the planning, delivery and evaluation of multi‑channel marketing campaigns designed to attract new and returning audiences. Working closely with the Campaign Marketing Manager, digital colleagues and external partners, you’ll help deliver campaigns across digital, print, broadcast, out‑of‑home and partnership channels.

The role includes coordinating advertising schedules, managing third‑party promotions, supporting agency relationships, and overseeing the distribution of marketing collateral. You’ll collaborate with travel trade, tourism and heritage partners, provide content for website and email activity, and create campaigns for talks, events and special projects. You’ll also assist with CRM development, data capture, campaign evaluation and marketing budget administration.

About You

You’ll bring a solid understanding of marketing principles and hands‑on experience delivering and evaluating campaigns. You’re an excellent communicator with a flair for creative design and copy, strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

A collaborative and self‑motivated team player, you’ll share our enthusiasm for heritage and be keen to build a career in cultural and visitor‑focused marketing.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
