Benenden Health has an exciting opportunity for a clinician to provide health and wellbeing education and support across the business. Our Clinical Health and Wellbeing Educator will proactively collaborate across multiple teams within the Society to generate and deliver impactful clinical education and support through providing expert health and well-being guidance through diverse media channels.
What does this mean in reality – it could be filming for one of our Social Media channels, generating and delivering clinically based national webinars, writing for a national magazine or newspaper or providing face to face clinical advice and support to one of our members.
We would consider part time hours or a job share for this role.
To do this we would need someone who can demonstrate the ability to:
- Work closely with the clinical team to define, plan and deliver a health and wellbeing strategy
- Generate and deliver, webinars, in person education sessions or written collateral on a range of health-related topics i.e. menopause, mens health, long term condition support, to our corporate clients and members
- Be comfortable delivering education over multiple media platforms such as MS Teams, Tik Tok, Facebook, filmed segments
- Develop and deliver written clinical education on health and wellbeing topics such as cardiovascular health, diabetes, mental health etc.
- Use clinical knowledge and diagnostic reasoning to support one to one clinical conversations.
- Be comfortable undertaking national travel
What are our essentials?
- Current registration with a regulatory body and hold a degree in nursing or health related subject of equivalent status
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Skilled in digital health and wellbeing tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstratable experience of educating in a coaching style.
What are our desirables?
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience at band 6 (or equivalent) in healthcare
- Understanding of regulatory and industry standard guidelines
- Experience at developing, managing and supporting various stakeholder relationships at senior level.
Interviews will be facilitated by a panel of three colleagues who are all invested in supporting improving the health of our nation. Within the interview we would like candidates to prepare and deliver a 10-minute presentation on a health and wellbeing subject of their choice. Whilst the post is based in the beautiful city of York, following induction the candidate will have a degree of flexible working.
