Following continued successful growth, we are seeking to recruit a 3D CAD Operator who will work for The London Door Company based in our Trafford Park Offices in Manchester.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for finalising manufacturing drawings, based on details supplied by surveyors
• Modelling of special parts and production of drawings for suppliers
• Modelling and assembly of pre-manufacturing drawings for client approval
• Designing Lead Light glass panels, based on a set range
• Final sign off, of all documents pre-manufacture
• Working with both sales and survey divisions

A Successful Applicant Will:

• Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of 3D CAD software (Solidworks will be advantageous)
• Have a good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Have a good level of IT literacy
• Understand basic joinery
• Have a keen eye for details and an understanding of traditional design
• Be able to use initiative and problem solve
• Work to tight deadlines in a fast paced work environment
• Be able to communicate for other departments within the business confidently
