Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving the commercial success of all aspects of the portfolio

  • Accountable for the design and development of high quality learning resources and the overall learning experience of students and apprentices

  • Quality assurance over all aspects of the programme delivery and student experience

  • Relationship holder with professional bodies to support existing programmes and to identify new opportunities

  • Evaluate and respond toopportunities for new programme development in line with market and client demand (professional qualifications, degree programmes, apprenticeships and international partnerships)

  • Represent and advocate for BPP externally (for example professional bodies, Trailblazer groups)

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of programme validation and design ensuring that all paperwork and events exceed expected standards

  • Develop high quality programmes in line with business school processes ensuring appropriate quality whilst meeting agreed deadlines

  • Monitor key programme metrics to enable compliance, client reporting and commercial decision-making

  • Represent the business school within a client relationship as appropriate

  • Support faculty delivery team and support staff in achieving the programme objectives

  • High quality teaching and student support across the business school portfolio as required

 

Development Opportunities

This role will involve a high level of complex stakeholder management and the role holder will be exposed to a range of clients across the programmes they deliver.  This is an excellent opportunity to build understanding of executive and corporate education and development and to work in the dynamic and evolving area of apprenticeships.

The role holder will be supported to develop their understanding of delivery in this context from both an educational and commercial perspective.  They will be supported to build engagement with and understanding of the regulatory frameworks of both the educational environment and the employer context of programmes.  Appropriate formal training to align with this will be supported by BPP.  BPP offers a wealth of training and development opportunities to all employees and, where appropriate, these would be open to the role holder.

It is anticipated that this area of the business will grow rapidly in line with expectations of market growth.  As this growth happens it is expected that opportunities for development and advancement will be available to individuals within the team.
