We have an exciting opportunity to head up our Street Sales London team. This is a newly created role, part of our approach to strengthen our offering to our customers and our bold growth plans.

Scope of the role:

The role of Head of Street Sales for London requires a strong leader who is hands on but also have the skill set to be able to step back and strategically adopt and view how the team can be best utilised to seek out new opportunities and win new business for the Fresh Direct Group

This is a hugely demanding role that will require strength, perseverance and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Taking responsibility for the performance of the Area Sales manager of a defined geographical area with pipeline and sales results and supporting the finance team with forecasting and budgeting activities
Work in conjunction with the Head of Telesales and the Telesales Managers to ensure effective team structures within the London area, ensuring a strategic targeted and joined up approach
Provide clarity, focus, and ongoing development of the sector propositions and strategy through the effective planning and execution of ongoing prospect development with weekly management progress reviews
Support the personal development of Area Sales Managers delivering mentoring and coaching activity in line with individual development plans

Key Attributes:

Industry experience is key, ideally with a god understanding of the London market alongside extensive sales team management experience
Proven track record of achieving profitable growth and new business and subsequent sales delivery
Entrepreneurial flair is critical, you need to be able to convey and implement innovative ideas and creative solutions within the business limits
Relationships are key, and you will need to have the ability to engage in high level questioning to build a knowledge of customer needs / buying behaviour to develop bespoke offerings and educate the development of the trade channel propositions
