Accounts Receivable Administrator Apprentice

(​​​​​​​Level 2 Credit Control & Collector Apprenticeship)


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team as an Administrator Apprentice, and gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the accounts receivable function. This is a key role to ensure the business receives payments for goods and services, and transactions are recorded accordingly.

The right candidate will develop a range of financial administrative skills, to become a pivotal support to the team, whilst working towards a Level 2 Credit Control & Collector Apprenticeship Standard with our selected training provider.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices and credit notes

  • Opening and closing sample accounts

  • Resolution of debtor’s queries

  • Preparing statements

  • Customer service - Answering customer telephone and email queries​​​​​​​

  • Working closely with our sales and customer service colleagues to ensure we are keeping in contact with our customers and getting payment on time
