About the Role

You will be carrying out the day-to-day delivery of the team’s home care service in compliance with Health and Safety, emergency regulations and procedures, as well as the Company’s operational policies and procedures. To deliver such services as personal care, assistance with mobility, food preparation, cleaning, help with independence and duties outside the home such as shopping and escorting as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
  • Help clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, helping clients feel less isolated and more connected.
  • Make regular wellbeing checks to ensure clients are safe, comfortable, and their needs are being met.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including those related to client privacy, health and safety, and care standards.

About You

  • Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
  • A friendly, supportive demeanour with a genuine passion for assisting those in need.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing exceptional service.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to the varying needs of our clients.
  • Ensure that all care tasks and wellbeing checks are managed with care and professionalism.
  • A clean, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
  • Hold or willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
  • Ability to work on weekends as required.
