About the Role
Please note: this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will work night shifts including some weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support during night hours
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and mealtimes
- Monitor and respond to residents' needs throughout the night
- Maintain accurate care records and report concerns to senior staff
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing always
- Ensure the care home remains clean, safe and comfortable overnight
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to ensure the best outcomes for residents
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2yrs+ previous care experience
- Holds a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
- Is kind, patient, respectful, and empathetic with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Communicates well, works effectively in a team, and is committed to high standards of care
- Can work independently and as part of a team during night shifts
- Is comfortable with personal care tasks and supporting people with dementia
