Make a difference with your tech skills

At Persona Care and Support, we enable support that makes a positive impact on people’s lives, independence, dignity, and wellbeing. To do that well, we rely on high‑quality operational systems that make our services safer, smarter, and easier to deliver.

We’re looking for a systems administrator who can help us get the very best from our digital tools — someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and supporting colleagues to work confidently and effectively.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants their technical skills to have a real‑world impact in adult social care.

About the role

As our systems administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and developing the operational systems that keep our services running. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation, helping them use our systems efficiently and ensuring they continue to evolve as our needs change.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • supporting day‑to‑day system use, resolving user issues and queries, and providing helpful, patient guidance to colleagues.
  • administering and maintaining our key operational systems, including user access, configuration, security, updates, and data quality.
  • working with service leads to optimise workflows, forms, reports, and system features so teams can work more effectively.
  • playing an active role in implementing new systems, including configuration, testing, data migration, and rollout support.
  • liaising with system suppliers to resolve technical issues, plan updates, and implement enhancements.
  • producing documentation, guidance, and training resources to build digital confidence across the organisation.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days look the same — ideal for someone who loves problem solving and continuous improvement.

This role will be a hybrid role; you will be working from home, head office and in services.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of systems and making them work better for people. You’ll have experience supporting operational or business critical systems and feel confident handling queries, diagnosing issues, and configuring features or workflows.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • a proactive, detail‑focussed problem‑solver with a passion for improving how systems work.
  • calm, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly with colleagues of all technical abilities.
  • values driven, with integrity and a strong commitment to confidentiality, data protection, and the principles of person‑centred adult social care.

You’ll also bring:

Essential experience and skills

  • Experience administering and supporting digital systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.
  • Understanding of data protection and information security.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to create documentation, guides, or training materials.

Desirable

  • Experience within adult social care, health, housing or similar settings.
  • Experience in system implementation or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools or data analysis.
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management experience (helpful but not essential).

Why Join Persona Care and Support?

We offer:

  • a supportive team culture
  • opportunities for training and development
  • flexible working arrangements
  • a role where your work has real impact every day
