Support Workers - LD Day Service
£13.65 per hour rising to £13.75 per hour on successful completion of training and probation period
37 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity in our Learning Disabilities Day Service at Persona.
About you
You don’t need to have previous experience of working in social care, what’s important is that you are caring, a good communicator, patient, creative, able to work on your own initiative, show empathy and also work as part of a team. Most of all we are looking for someone who shares our values. You will need to make the effort to get to know the people you support so a relationship of trust can be built.
About the role
Being a support worker can be a very rewarding job. Even though the role can be hard and often challenging, making a positive difference to someone’s life and enabling them to become more independent brings feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction. It’s a great career choice for those who enjoy a varied job role and lots of interaction with others.
