About the Role
We are currently seeking two dedicated and compassionate Nightshift Care Assistants to join our team on an immediate start (depending on satisfactory checks). This is a part-time role offering 24 hours per week. You’ll be working night shifts from 7:30pm to 07:30am, including some weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night hours
- Support and assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication to residents and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and respond to residents’ needs throughout the night
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns to senior staff
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing always
- Ensure the care home remains clean, safe, and comfortable overnight
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for residents
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a care role (essential)
- Holds a Level 2 qualification (preferred)
- Can administer medication
- Is kind, patient, respectful and empathetic with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Has good communication and teamwork skills and committed to delivering high standards of care.
- Can work independently during night shifts
- Is comfortable with personal care tasks
