Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference?

At our Learning Disability Day Services we are not just looking for Support Workers. We are looking for passionate, creative and motivated people who want to help others live fulfilling, active and independent lives. This is far more than a care job.

Every day is different. One day you could be supporting someone to achieve a personal goal, the next you might be helping to run a community project, supporting people to learn new skills, enjoy a day out, develop friendships, volunteer, access education or take part in activities that matter to them.

If you want a career where you can see the difference you make every day, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Support Worker within LDDS, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with learning disabilities to live life to the fullest.

You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, helping people to:

  • Achieve their personal goals and aspirations
  • Develop confidence, independence and life skills
  • Access their local communities
  • Participate in meaningful activities and opportunities
  • Build friendships and relationships
  • Maintain their health and wellbeing
  • Make choices and have control over their lives
  • Enjoy safe, rewarding and engaging experiences

About You

You don't need previous experience in social care. What's most important is that you:

  • Share our values and dignity and inclusion
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Have good communication skills
  • Are reliable and adaptable
  • Can work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Are enthusiastic about helping people achieve their goals
  • Bring energy, creativity and a willingness to learn

Whether you are starting a new career, returning to work or looking for a role with real purpose, we would love to hear from you.

What Our Team Says,

"The best part of the job is seeing people achieve things they never thought possible. Every day brings something new and it's incredibly rewarding to be part of someone's journey."
