Are you passionate about wine and delivering exceptional service? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Wine Waiter's to join our world-class team onboard. In this role, you’ll provide a professional and engaging wine service to both guests and crew, enhancing their onboard experience while upholding the highest standards of hospitality.
Our bars and dining venues are among the most luxurious at sea, and we’re seeking someone who takes pride in maintaining a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Sommelier with wine talks, tastings, and guest presentations
- Prepare wine pre-orders and ensure timely table setup for service periods
- Confidently engage with guests, offering expert advice and answering wine-related questions
- Serve wine and beverages in line with Responsible Service of Alcohol policies
- Drive wine sales by promoting featured selections and offering food and wine pairing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards for all bar equipment, glassware, and service areas
- Follow all cleaning routines and operational procedures to ensure a seamless service
What We’re Looking For:
- WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine qualification preferred (or relevant industry experience)
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety or equivalent
- Previous sommelier or wine service experience in a 4- or 5-star hospitality environment
- A genuine passion for wine and a desire to share your knowledge with others
- Strong communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English
