It takes many different technical specialisms to deliver our amazing entertainment shows onboard P&O Cruises day in, day out. We are looking to attract the very best Assistant Manager Production – Lights to help lead our teams to deliver the West End to the Sea.
Summary of the Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective operational delivery of the lighting for our entertainment productions, deck activities, talks and other events as directed by the Production Manager. You will operate equipment for all main events assisting with set design, making changes to the set as required, prompting performers and cueing technicians.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following:
- Must have proven experience in a similar capacity - managing the lights for high-end productions / shows.
- Experience of working in large venues onboard, or on a variety of live events i.e. concert, theatre and individual acts.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety within production and experience of working with risk assessments
- Experience with the operation and programming of lighting systems.
- A good leader, with the ability to speak up and lead by example.
