This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly capable Security Architect to help deliver even better holidays for customers of our leading travel brands, from within our growing Technology Architecture team.
The Senior Architect role is to develop and promote the strategic, business-aligned architectural direction of Carnival UK; to engage effectively with key Business & Technology stakeholders, to understand key business initiatives, and then guide the stakeholders to a commonly agreed architecture. In particular this role will ensure that this is done with pragmatic but effective security controls and technologies in place.

We would expect you to have a rich experience in managing Business, Application, Information and Technology Architecture across various industries. A broad range of technology exposure, strong understanding of architectural approaches and frameworks (e.g. TOGAF 9, SABSA) and proven background of delivering security and compliance projects in multinational organisations will all be key in this role. It is also essential to have previous exposure to SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS and industry control frameworks as ISO27000, ISF and NIST.
As an SME Security Architect you’ll have a guest centric approach and you will be truly passionate about enhancing the service offering as well as creating inclusive and engaging environment. You will have high levels of energy and a ‘can do’ attitude, whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and delivery. You will be a natural leader with great relationship building abilities with other experts across the Technology and the Business.
