To enable Corporate Shipbuilding to be the centre of excellence we aspire to be, we are looking for an OT Network and Security Engineer to join the team. This role will be based within our Systems Integration team, providing guidance and expertise in industrial control systems and network security design, as well as managing interactions with key stakeholders.


You will be providing and applying management and technical expertise in OT networks and industrial control systems, to the specification, design, construction and conversion of passenger vessels. This includes:

  • Reviewing the plan approval drawings for OT networks;
  • Evaluation of specialist equipment specifications and designs, including those related to shipboard IT;
  • Continuous review of the latest regulations and impact on design specifications.

The right candidate for this position will be someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but will drive their interactions with the business in their area of expertise. We are looking for someone with:


  • Degree or Masters qualified in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical subject;
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial OT/IT and Cyber Security;
  • Specific experience of the design and implementation of industrial OT/IT systems;
  • Ideally with some experience of Shipbuilding and the Cruise sector.
