Due to the launch of a new operational support department (ORCA) within Carnival UK an exciting opportunity has come up for a focussed and organised ORCA Service Coordinator who is looking to join this new team during its early growth.

The Role

The role of ORCA Service Coordinator will be there to provide situational awareness and operational support to our ship and shore teams. This role will involve working across the organisation on identifying issues and then working with multiple stakeholders to generate solutions and then help to implement them. The role will review incoming operational incidents and ensure a coordinated response across the organisation.

It is a highly collaborative role working with multiple areas of the business, ship and shore across all levels of management. Due to the operational nature of our business no one day will ever be the same, it will provide a multitude of challenges from both a business, operations and ship perspective.

About You

We are looking for an organised and articulate individual from a maritime or other operational background and be able to show an understanding of either working with or on board ships.

You will have the ability to look at a number of complex operational issues and prioritise them operationally. The way you communicate both in person and in writing is key to your success being able to distil complex issues into understandable briefings. Management of all levels of stakeholders is important as well as remaining structured and calm under pressure.
