This is a great time to be joining the Maritime department and we are looking for a Project Consultant who is seeking a new challenge in an exciting multi-disciplined role in a fast moving environment working closely with colleagues across the whole CUK organisation, including Finance, IT, Brand and Maritime.
The Maritime portfolio consists of a wide range of change initiatives, ranging from major equipment’s installations on board our ships, to business process changes within our shoreside operations. You will have the opportunity to grow your skillset alongside experienced Project Managers and a wide variety of Subject Matter Experts, excellent training and mentoring opportunities will also be available.
The role of Consultant (Associate) Project Manager is to lead the delivery of agreed and appropriate level projects within Maritime to time, cost and quality. The role will have responsibility for successful delivery, with accountability sitting with a Senior Manager or Project Manager who will support this post as a point of escalation and Subject Matter Expert. The post holder will work closely with a business change lead and solution lead for each project, to work as a team focussed on business outcomes, and transitioning change into our business operation.
Working collaboratively across departments to achieve success, this role requires strong influencing and relationship skills, professional organisational ability, competent and effective communication styles with Senior leaders. As a small team working across a significant business area the candidate will need to work independently and delegate effectively where appropriate for their manager. Business, finance and project management skills will be key in this role with a focus on reporting, planning, finance and communication skills
